Spurs win the 1st

We have won our first game against West Ham in the Barclays Asia Trophy tournament. Defoe scored the winner, although not a beauty by any means. The boys played well, held on to the ball and distributed it quite nicely. The passing was spot on but the finishing on goal was not something to boast about. I was watching an online feed and saw Pav’s attempt at goal: sweet curve but hit the woodwork – DOH! I feel we controlled the game for most of the time which is a positive.

Then my feed died on me 😦

I am really impressed with Naughton though! He has great composure for such a young player and makes very good decisions with the ball. Let’s hope he is a player for the future. Another player who played well today was O’Hara; his heart shows on the pitch and that is more than I can say for any other player. He played extremely well in Jenas’ place next to Palacios pushing the ball forward and creating chances for our forwards.

I wonder what notes Harry scribbled down during the game.
