What could have been…

As much as we hate to admit it, this could be one of the finest striker pairings in Premier League history. Is that a big statement to make?

It’s too bad that they both gave up on such a wonderful partnership, only to end up at their “dream” clubs alone and cold. Let’s hope Robbie gains some of that flair if he’s to stay at the Lane.

Not the clearest video, but dramatic enough to get you going.

Both are past their prime now but what could’ve been their best season playing together we’ll never know. Still leaves a bitter taste thinking about it

    Don’ torment yourslf El.
Think of the next end of season video of Dos Santos and Modric linking behind our new marquee striker with Bale and Lennon rampaging down the wings.
    Dimitar and Robbie who?

    Hey guys,

No torment here. They both peaked at Spurs (let’s hope). I am definitely more excited about what’s to come!

Jimmy: who is this new marquee striker?? ITK me please!

Well Harry put the big tent up (sorry old joke) but nobody’s turned up, the champagne’s gone flat and the vol au vonts have failed to rise.

I have no idea what a marquee signing is.
Ive asked at Foxy’s and Spooky’s gaff but they don’t know either.

With Keane back and on song we will probably stick with what we’ve got.
    Take down the tent boys.
